Today was definitely a returners hang out together all day kind of day. It was freezing cold, and we went to Luddington (bad life choice, except Luddington is always a good time). But spending time together is always a pleasure. We went to our favourite Luddington places, including a used book store and this super nerdy arcade game place. I found a collection of Irish fairy tales and a really cute picture book.
We also had a campfire when we got back to camp. It was nice to sing songs just for the sake of having fun singing songs together. Also I went on a trip to the grocery story with one friend to get macaroni with the intent of cooking it on the fire. Sadly, it did not work (couldn’t get the water to boil). However, I will not give up hope of successfully making macaroni and cheese at camp. It will happen.
