The kids left, but it was a rainy closing day so it went a lot faster (which is nice for tired counsellors). The most exciting part of my day though, is that my old friends came up for the weekend! I actually don’t know how to explain the excitement I have to see them. Getting to talk with my one friend was so wonderful already. It’s like a reunion from my past. There is something beautiful that you share with old camp friends. The experiences you’ve been through together and the specialness of “camp” in general are just unique. I feel lucky to have those kinds of friends, and those experiences.
