So today I thought to myself “self, let’s take some time to turn off our brain and just watch something mindless on tv for a while”. So I went to the tv and turned on TLC (one of my favourite channels since like … Trading Spaces and What Not To Wear’s first season.)
Anyhow, like most girls, I’m a sucker for “Say Yes to the Dress” because I mean, come on. Pretty dresses! But today it was “Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids” to which I say REALLY? You REALLY made a show about people going to pick out bridesmaid dresses and fighting about the style. REALLY? What happened to the days of “27 Dresses” where you just wore what the bride wanted, regardless of how hideous or ridiculous it was?
I watched the whole show. And I thought it was ridiculous. But this is why TLC still exists. Bored people like me will watch people spend ridiculous amounts of money on dresses.
